• Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on 1882 in Hyde park New York.
• FDR was a well education guy being home schooled with private tutors and then entered Groton an elite private school. attend college at Harvard in 1900.
• FDR started a law practice in new York city in 1910 he won a seat in the new York state senate. FDR carried a republican stronghold in that election.
• FDR became the assistant secretary of the navy in 1912 during world war I
• in 1921 he became ill with polio and lost all movement of his legs
• was elected president in 1932 the country was already falling in to a economy crisis known as the depression FDR knew he needed to do something so he created the new deal. witch created jobs for people
• He started a program called Social Security to help people in their old age. Millions of Americans today depend on Social Security benefits for their retirement income.
• FDR would use the radio to get reach out to the American people.......
