The articles basically deal with the rise in inflation that the emerging economies are faced with in the present day and age and they try and draw a comparison with that of the emerging economies of the past. They tend to state that there is a pattern that has been observed in the surge and eventual fall of an economy. When an economy is doing good, the leaders and decision makers of the state are carried away by it. The urge to do better and to rise to higher levels makes them ignore any threat which might hit the economy due to exponential growth rates.
