Abstract
With expansion and growth in computing technology, systems for supporting decision-makers in planning can be crucial, either to expedite and enhance the work environment or to gain efficient and effective forecasting results, as to compete with other rivals in business war-gaming. In this paper, we will explore the state-of-art in developing a Collaborative Model of Knowledge Management System (KMS) which may support managers in decision making process. Selected technologies that contribute to knowledge management solutions are reviewed using Nonaka's model of organizational knowledge creation as a framework. The extent to which knowledge conversion within and between tacit and explicit forms can be supported by the technologies is discussed, and some likely future trends are identified.......
