ABSTRACT
“Rights are protected not by laws, but by social and moral conscience of society. The statement empowers the society to an adequate extent by the virtue of the moral power endowed in its structure. The notion is a product of the ideology of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Ideologies forwarded by prominent individuals from the history still find a functional space in the same societies. This is one of such notions, which never lost its imminence, rather got strengthened with relative change of time. The legislative reforms introduced by the Government of India gave a light which is worth acclaiming and also, as always Judiciary has come time and again to save man miniature, by its sagacious judgements, from excruciating blows of evil society.
