Racism, a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and that racial differences produce inherent superiority of a particular race. So how prevalent is Race Discrimination in today’s society? Many people believe race discrimination is a problem from years past, however race discrimination is dealt with in everyday life and in today’s society race discrimination is an issue that affects those of many different races.
As an ideology, racism existed during the 19th century as "scientific racism", which attempted to provide a racial classification of humanity.[10] Although such racist ideologies have been widely discredited after World War II and the Holocaust, the phenomena of racism and of racial discrimination have remained widespread all over the world.
