From Honolulu, Hawaii to Chicago Illinois Americas first black candidate for president arose. Barack Obama, a man most people describe as being a person who thinks on camera and presents un manufactured ideas to the public ( Cole, Harriet) .
Early Life
Obama was born August 4th, 1961, to Barack Obama Sr. and Ann Dunham. Obama Sr. was a black Kenyan of Nyang’ oma Kogela, Siaya District Kenya and Ms. Dunham was a white American from Wichita, Kansas. The two met while attending the University of Hawaii (keepandshare.com) and later separated and divorced when Barack was only two years old. In 1982 Obama Sr. died, in a car crash, seeing Barack only once before his death.
