The Moral Disposition of War
December 7, 1941, the attack on Pearl Harbor, was a day that opened the flood gates of unjustified chaos on American soil. Amongst many historic stories, questions of President Roosevelt's administration provoking the attack on Pearl Harbor to involve the U.S. in WWII loomed, outright discrimination within the U.S. Navy prevented a hero from claiming the proper medal, and Japanese-Americans experienced racial profiling and later rounded up and hauled away to internments camps along the western United States. Even though these events weighed heavy on the minds of foreigners that looked to America as the “Land of milk and honey”, our role in the WWII theater was vital.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike that was planned and executed by the Japanese Navy against the United States' naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.......
