After comparing the movie to the notes we took in class I found many similarities and differences.
I found that in the movie there were several parts added and taken away to add more drama.
Most of the characters that were different was a man by the name John Alden "the tall man from
Boston" was mentioned in the notes but did not appear in the movie. Probably because he had no
since in the movie because he was a loaner. Another character that was present in the notes but
not in the movie was Doracas Good, Sarah Good's daughter, who testified against her own
mother in court. I was surprised at this I think that if you are going to testify against your own
mother that is a pretty big deal. A big difference was the notes say that Betty Parris accused
Tituba; however, in the movie it was, Abby, Reverend Parris's niece that accused Tituba. Also it
was never mentioned in the movie that Tituba had a black male companion name John. This was
