Molecules and Their Shapes

Purpose:
The purpose of this lab was to build models in order to predict how differences in bonding orbitals and sizes of atoms affect the shapes of molecules. This way we will be able to predict which molecules have dipole moments.

Procedure:
The first thing we did in this lab was made a chart of seven hydrogen compounds. This chart was made up of Lithium, Beryllium, Boron, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Fluorine.
