COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICAL CONTROLLER, GS 392
Serves as the Senior Technical Controller for Baltimore remote Operations management branch (ROMB), Midnight shift. I work with Systems administrations and optimization activities for systems Hardware, (such as; T1 and T3 Muxes, Bridges/Routers, CAUs, LAMs, CSU/DSU's, ATM switch, Matrix switch, CMS6000), and telecommunications Test equipment (such as LAN Pharaoh, Sniffers, Fireberd 6000, Tberd 209A, ECT). Assists other staff personnel in matters Involving system planning, configurations and operations. Evaluates systems software and hardware to determine feasibility for use with Social Security Network. Review and Evaluate Technical accuracy, feasibility and system compatibility, Monitor and Track vendors problem resolution and escalating extended and or recurring Hardware/Network outages. Submit morning report to management on the status of the Teleservice Center 800 number Network. COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICAL CONTROLLER, GS 392
