“ The Difference Between Good and Evil”
In this book, everyone changes. All the characters underwent difficult hardships that some dealt with well, while others had some trouble with it. In the end everyone is happy with the outcome of his or her actions, and all is well. The characters that I believe changed the most in the end of the story, which I choose to discuss, are Gwyn, Tad, and Blithe.
Gwyn was the leading heroin of the story. She grew up in her father’s Inn, doing chores and looking after her spoiled little brother, Tad. In the beginning of the story, Gwyn always feels bad for the less fortunate around her, but she never did anything about that. She had no time for that sort of stuff. She had chores in the Inn, a sickly grandfather, and a spoiled younger brother who she was always responsible for. The following quote is an example of how Gwyn feels about the misfortune of others.
