Spain is a very interesting country and has much history behind its geography, population, society, culture and much more. Many of this history can be based on its people and their rich taste and flavor in music and foods. Their history also shows us that from Spain originated many cultures that made many different countries we know today. Spain's dances are also popular and still carried on today. Spain is surrounded by France and Portugal. Its size is slightly more than twice of Oregon. Spain's major problems are pollution of the Mediterranean Sea from raw sewage and effluents from the offshore production of oil and gas; water quality and quantity nationwide; air pollution; deforestation; desertification.
