"NEGATIVE SEXUAL EXPERIENSES"
Sexual relationships supposed to be pleasurable and also positive experiences for both partners that are involved. One of the things that make the experience pleasurable and positive is that both partners are aware and conscious of it. But for some people innocence are taken away with out them agreeing to by taking advantage of ones sexuality with out their awareness. The right thing to do about the negative sexual experience is to try to turn it to a positive one.
In the memoir "When I Was Puerto Rican" Esmeralda Santiago shows that ones negative sexual experience could be turned into a positive one. Santiago tells a story about a little girl who growing up experiences this violence in some way, with sexual relationships that take away her innocence with out her agreeing to them or knowing about. As Negi gets older she tries to turn those negative sexual experiences into pleasurable ones for herself.
