"PRESENT SIR!" Private Robert replied.
"Private 063!"
"PRESENT SIR!" Private Wallace shouted.
Master Sergeant Olsen was taking attendance at the Base Camp Zan. He was in charge of a platoon of eighty Privates, fresh from the Recruit Camp. Soon, he had accounted for all his soldiers. Coming fresh from the mainland with no knowledge of the army, none of his soldiers could outdo him. Or so he thoughtÂ…
"Time for your short morning walk, Privates!"
"YES SIR!"
The privates started on their ‘short morning walk' which turned out to be twenty kilometres long. Delta, one of the privates, was the first to finish the run with an astonishing timing of one and a quarter of an hour beating the Master Sergeant by five full minutes. Master Sergeant was infuriated.
"Private 019! Meet me at 0645Hours!"
