Christopher Marlowe:-
Marlowe is one of the famous Renaissance writers. He is the first dramatist. Marlow began his career as a playwright. He wrote five plays, masterpieces, included the famous tragedy of the Rich Jew of Malta, Edward the Second, Dido: Queen of Carthage, Dr. Faustus and his most ambitious work the heroic epic Tamburlain, the first notable English play in blank verse. He also wrote one of the most famous lyric poems in the English language, "The Passionate Shepherd to his Love". In addition, He wrote revenge tragedies.
Sir Thomas More:-
More is an excellent example of the early English Renaissance. Sir Thomas More was a philosopher and was famous for his book Utopia, a philosophical romance. More coined the term "utopia" which is a pun meaning both "good place" and "no place". He was inspired by Plato's Republic when he wrote Utopia.
