“The crucible”

In the novel “The Crucible” I believe is the strongest force in Salem. The emphasis of my essay is to make you (the reader) agree with my sentiments. I will do so through quotes and acts of Abigal Williams. Through out the novel Abigal Williams does many acts to make her look deceitful, dishonest, greedy, corrupt, and as the twenty first century is creeping upon us yes even bitchy.

Throughout the novel Abigal Williams is in search of a man, which she has seduced and will stop at nothing to make John her man even if it means killing his wife. Abigal is able to do as she pleases and is able to get away with anything. She shows such a strong presence of authority when she speaks to the girls “ let either of you breathe a word, or the edge of a word, about the other things, I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you.” (Miller, 20) by this you can already......
