If God Is Good

If God truly intended the world to be a perfect place why did he allow Satan to enter it? Why would a loving God allow something so evil to come and tarnish what he made beautiful? If God knows the future; he knew that Adam and Eve would inevitably eat from the forbidden tree. So, why did he put the tree there and allow them to be tempted? Why would God set us up for failure?

Free will, def. "the ability to act or make choices as a free and autonomous being and not solely as a result of compulsion or predestination. (Encarta Dictionary). God put the tree there so that man could have free will and choice. How can we say "Where is God nowÂ…why isn't He here?" when we have taken God out of everything in our lives. God has been removed from our schools, our anthems, our holidays, and even out of our monetary system. The simple answer, it is because of free will that we have taken God out of our lives.
