Acid Rain are form of precipitation containing high levels of sulfuric or nitric acids, which
is produced when sulfur dioxide and various nitrogen oxides combine with atmospheric moisture, acid rain can contaminate drinking water, damage vegetation and aquatic life, and erode buildings and monuments, and also my dad works with cars and told me that one of biggest prolems he has is acid rain, because when acid rain occures science
the cars are stored the acid rain penetraits the cars paint and can cause the car to rust from
the inside out. There is a new plastic that protects the cars from
this acid rain. Automobile exhausts and the burning of high-sulfur industrial fuels are thought to be the main causes, but natural sources, such as volcanic gases and forest fires, may also be significant. It has been an increasingly serious problem since the 1950s, particularly in the north east United States, Canada, and west Europe, especially Scandinavia.
