The seismic snap of pads clashing together. Guys grunting every time they get smacked; testosterone, and all that is man. Nothing was more rewarding then making that tackle and helping win a game of football. I loved it, but I quit. Mostly because the coaches were teaching us to hit the other players in places that, well lets just say it would make a grown man cry. To think we had the reputation of being one of the cleanest playing teams in the district. Anyway, the point is I quit, and because my brother was my only ride home, and he had to stay for drama practice I'd stay in the back and wait, trying to be the least annoying possible. After a few practices the director, Ms.Cummings, asked me if I would open and close the curtains for the show and I said yes. I mean I had nothing better to do. And before I knew it I was writing in light and sound quos for the show. However, at the last minute Ms.Cummings got two other techies to run lights and sound, and that left me with just......
