The Brady Training Program
1.) Bill's behavior during his participation in the Brady Training Program was competitive in nature, but unethical according to company policies and procedures. Bill came into the program with a high degree of self efficacy. He had no experience with computer information systems but he was still determined to meet all challenges in the training program.
Bill was motivated to succeed. He had the capacity, the opportunity, and the willingness to perform at a high level.
Bills behavior during the training program was unlike him. He was told during orientation that trainees were not allowed to help each other. He proceeded to form a secret study group. This can be referred to from Maslow's Need Hierarchy theory as the need for safety and security. He felt threatened that he wouldn't be able to complete the first project and would be terminated from the program. He got help from Harry.
