Taj Mahal

Big as sky, white as a ray of light and pure as love, that’s what I thought when, I first saw The Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This splendid masterpiece of architecture was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Arjumand Banu who was later known as Mumtaz Mahal, which means, the Distinguished of the Palace.
On a school trip, I got my first chance to visit this beautiful gift of love. Although city of Agra, where Taj Mahal is situated, is just a few hours drive away from my home town, I never got chance to visit The Taj Mahal before. I was very much excited about the trip, as big and beautiful buildings always appeal to me, and on this trip I was going to see one of the beautiful buildings in the world, and that’s with my friends!
We started our trip from our school itself; and after three hours of singing and having good time with friends in a school bus, we reached the Agra. Our first stop was the hotel where we have to stay wile......
