Generation X: a generation of people born between 1965 and 1980. Rock music, chain smokers, raves, and skipping class are just a few examples of this unique generation. But a significant question remains: what about the rest of us born after 1980?
Often we hear of the generation gap; the distance between parent and child. Perhaps it is an acquaintance gap. Young people and adults do not know each other and the inability to communicate often enters the picture. Sometimes it is because neither knows what the other is interested in. They live under the same roof, but rarely see one another, especially after the teenage years come along. Each parent goes off to work, usually before the child awakes, which leaves the children to get themselves up and off to school without the help of their parents.
