Same Dew, New View
After arriving home from an arduous day at school, I am always mentally drained. Once unlocking the French doors, I enter the house and set my books on the bar, thinking about whether the homework should be completed or procrastinate about the assignments and begin late in the aging evening. In helping me make an excruciating decision, I rely on a particular beverage, one which both refreshes the heart and soul. Although many types of beverages come in various shapes and sizes, one particular soft drink always seems to satisfy my taste buds. Mountain Dew is my partner in crime, motivating me to keep participating in my everyday activities.
After being greeted by my Blue Heeler pup, Poncho, I immediately grab an ice-cold, refreshing Mountain Dew from the coconut-colored refrigerator in my kitchen upon arrival at home after a strenuous day of schooling.
