Teaching and learning is a process which consists of an expert which transfers a specific knowledge to his or her student. This knowledge can be either content based or more abstract such as being able to reach higher levels of thinking and critical analysis. It is an ongoing, ever-changing process with infinite possibilities and outcomes. However, certain goals must be achieved through this process. This process is guided by the teacher who molds this knowledge so that it can be assimilated by the student. The teacher is responsible for the completion of this process and must find ways to reach his or her goals. The student is then held responsible for learning this knowledge and is expected to interact with his teacher in order to achieve the appropriate level of expected knowledge. The teacher in turn needs to assess the level of knowledge attained by the student and apply a plan of action in order to reach the level of desired......
