Entertainment At A Glance
Try to imagine this world without entertainment. Impossible, right? Entertainment can come in various forms: music, games, movies, theatre, etc.
Movies and plays are viewed as two of the most similar types of entertainment, but they also have drastic differences.
Plays are seen by a live audience. This makes the whole experience of seeing a play more intimate for not only the audience, but for the actors also. Since a play is done live, every performance has a slight difference each time. There will never be two performances that are the same within any given production. However, movies can only be viewed in a movie theatre on a projection screen or in the home if the homeowner has proper equipment. You cannot see a movie live. No matter how many times people watch "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," or "Batman," or whatever it is they prefer, a movie will be exactly the same as you watched it the last time.
