The government entity that our group has decided to work on is Bountiful City. Bountiful City is nestled in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain's about 10 miles north of Salt Lake City, Utah. The population of this great city in 2004 was 43,323 (this is an estimate that was made by the governor's office of budget and planning). Bountiful City was incorporated on December 14, 1892. They use a city manager who oversees the day to day operations, but they also have a mayor and city council. The total size of Bountiful city is roughly 14 square miles. Inside these 14 square miles they have two fire stations which employ 19 full-time firemen and 27 part-time firemen. They also have one police station that employ's 34 policemen and officer's. Bountiful City also has two high schools; Viewmont High School and Bountiful High School. They have four junior high schools and 10 elementary schools.
