A Christmas Carol

Based on an adaptation by Charles Jones and from a novel by Charles Dickens, the Midland Community Theatre truly captured Christmas. The play was directed by Timothy Jebsen.
It is a classic Charles Dickens Christmas tale of one man learning the true meaning of Christmas. Ebeneezer Scrooge (Michael Trost) is a cynical old man whose greatest concern is money, and doesn't believe Christmas. On Christmas eve, Scrooge is visited by Jacob Marley (David R. Allen), his former business partner. Marley warned him that he will be visited by three spirits to show Scrooge how he might still be able to correct his ways – the Christmas Past (Jena Tumlin), the Christmas Present (Bill Kersh) and the Future (Gail Theobald). The three spirits showed him his errors in life and the life of his employee whom he really treats badly, Bob Cratchit (Jim Reynolds), whom is loyal to Scrooge the whole time despite of how he treated him.
