Flannery O'Connor's short story, "A Good Man is hard to Find" is a story of a family going on a trip to Florida that concludes to a surprising ending. O'Connor was a religious Christian writer who pointed out American cultures changes. For example, violence, race relation, and class discrimination. The title "A Good Man is Hard to Find" emphasizes the plot of the short story: A journey into a family who risk their lives going to Florida, who is astonishingly come upon the misfit that is a loose from the Federal Pen. The Grandmother reveals what she was trying to tell her son Bailey, have come to a shocking truth. The grandmother, Bailey, and Bailey's family, in the end are in an unpleasant situation who tries to escape from the misfit. Unfortunately, the grandmother, Bailey, and Bailey's family faced the harsh reality of getting killed all because of the grandmother's wrong facts she discussed with the family.
