This information is written as personal notes; it outlines what I consider the fundamental elements of my philosophy; those issues I consider that will create the greatest challenges for me during my time as the brigade sergeants major. As well, as identify and provide all Soldiers assigned to this unit with a basic understanding of what I believe to be the foundation of good leadership to which our success as a unit will be based upon.

As an Initial Entry Training (IET) brigade, our fundamental responsibilities are creating an environment for academic success for all Soldiers and ensuring warrior ethos is integrated in continued training and education throughout the duration of IET.
