COM 200: After-Dinner Speech

Life is crazy. It's fast, it's hard and it can be rough sometimes. However, there are certain people in this world that can turn things around and make the most mundane, boring, or hard parts of life seem as small as grains of sand—a tiny part of something so much greater.
As he turns 21, I'd like to thank my boyfriend Ed for always being that kind of person. Now that college is over for him he's going to be thrown into the real world. Life after college, life with a real job and real headaches; and not the "oh no I've got a paper to write headaches", more like the "oh no I've got to pay the rent and cook my own dinner kind of headaches."
But I have faith in him. If anyone can do it, he can. Whether it's working 12 hour days at 2 jobs all summer or staying up all through the night to make sure the computer he built for that last nasty customer works exactly how it should.
