Quebec should join the confederation. Quebec needs to join together with other colonies to make the country stronger. If we join together, our economy, our military and our government will be stronger.
The government of Quebec is unstable. The province of Canada is changing governments very often, so it is difficult to make important decisions. Also, Great Britain will not help us to govern our country. This means that we have to govern our country by ourselves. If we join together, we will get our own provincial government to make important decisions and we will govern the country easily.
Quebec absolutely needs a railway. Quebec¡¯s rail network is underdeveloped, because of weathers and it costs lots of money. Canadian debt reaches $50 million. The confederation will help us to pay it, and continue to construct a railway. In winter, the river is frozen, so we can not use canals or ships.
