The Lord's Supper
THE LORD'S SUPPER SERVICE
Jesus gave the church two ordinances: baptism and the Lord's supper. Baptism is the doorway into the local church, identifying the believer with Christ and the body of believers. The Lord's supper sets forth his death until he comes.
I Corinthians 11:26:
For as often as eat this bread, and drink this cup,ye do shew(proclaim) the Lord's death until he comes.
The words of our Lord are clear and concise on the meaning of the supper:

The apostle Paul offer this commentary in I Corinthians 11:23-26: (READ)
Paul goes on to point out that each recipient should understand the meaning of the Supper, lest he be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord (READ verses 27-29)
