Who's To Blame?

Who's to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death? This is a very controversial issue that really depends on your own opinion. I shall be discussing three main characters who I think played a large role in the lover's death, although I do believe everyone did play a role in the situation one way or another. Many believe fate played a large role in the death of Romeo and Juliet, but I don't believe in fate because everything happens for a reason, therefore, fate will not be discussed in this essay.

One character who I thought played a large role in the two deaths was Friar Laurence. First of all he married the couple without the permission of the two families, he knew if they found out, he would be exiled. He interfered with the couple by giving Juliet what she begged for, instead, he should have refused to give her the potion for a solution, he should have made her figure everything out on her own, she was definitely capable enough. In the end if he wouldn't have married them......
