Being Bi-Polar

Although bipolar disorder is an uncommon mental disorder it is a very true problem in some people's lives. I know that myself personally in the past has made fun of people especially girls by telling them that I think that they are bipolar. After doing the research for this project I realize that this is a problem that is just as apt to happen to guys as it is girls and that it's a serious disorder and dosent need to be joked about. In America today about one in every eighty-three people (2.3 million or 1.2 percent of the population) have been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. It is also known as manic-depressive illness.
