Beowulf: The Ultimate Good

The epic poem Beowulf if the ultimate story of good vs. evil. It shows many contrasts between good and evil. The main character: Beowulf represents good while the monster, Grendall, represents evil. This poem mirrors the battle of God and Satan. Grendall represents Satan, he is made up of pure evil, death and darkness.
Grendall represents the ultimate evil, he was spawned by a pair of monsters who were born of Cain. They were murderous creatures who were banned by God. However, evil was driven away and this left the demons bitter and angry, they wanted evil to ultimately conquer good.
Grendall tries to destroy everyone and everything around him. Grendall waited until dark and went to the land of Herot looking for the warriors. He finds them, snatches up thirty of the men while they are sleeping, and kills them all. The next night Grendall goes back, "so set on murder that no crime could ever be enough, no savage assault quenched his lust for evil." His victims would plead......
