What a Friend Nick Is

Finding a new friend that listens and gives you respect is very difficult, but sometimes you'll find that one person that will stick with you, and you will call them friend. In The Great Gatsby there were many characters that were cynical, self indulgent, or just plain out manipulative, but there were also people that did good, like Nick. Nick from experiences in his life has become a man with a good vibe, is attentive and is very trustworthy.
Nick has been a very trust worthy guy since he was growing up because he would listen to people's words and keep them personal. For example, when Nick was in college a lot of people would go to him for advice or just talk. When Nick was in college people would talk about their problems, showing that the people trusted him to keep his mouth shut and keep things personal. His dad also raised him not to judge people because they might not have had the same opportunities. He was taught with ethics and also character which......
