The Jane Goodall Institute
The Jane Goodall Institute is a non profit organization that was founded in 1977 by Dr. Jane Goodall and Princess di San Faustino. The mission of the Institute is to advance the power of individuals to take informed and compassionate action to improve the environment of all living things. Initially the Institute's day to day operations were handled by board members and volunteers working out of their homes. Today the institute is known worldwide through reaching out to people in all places, having organized activities, holding lectures, conferences and simply the research Jane Goodall and her team have conducted.
The Jane Goodall Institute focuses their efforts on increasing primate habitat conservation, awareness, support and training issues related to our relationships with each other, the environment and animals.
