Therefore, 11.9 million Americans undergo plastic surgery each year, and out of that 11.9 million 335,000 are teenagers and 74,000 are under the age of eighteen! It seems like plastic surgery has become as easy as getting a haircut. Plastic surgery should not be readily available to the public like this because plastic surgery can be very dangerous, Americans take advantage of the procedures, and the surgery is not 100% guaranteed.
Plastic surgery can be a very dangerous procedure. Even through the dangers are rare, complications can still occur. The patient's health condition is very important going into surgery. If the patient does not have good health, the risk of complications increases. Plastic surgery is an outpatient procedure, meaning the patient goes home after the surgery.
