The capital punishment has always been a debated issue among societies throughout time. Nowadays this law remains to be a controversial theme of discussion. However, it is a fact that the most of the continents such as America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East with the exception of Israel still retain the death penalty for certain crimes. This does not mean that because it is practiced in many countries it is right. There are times when the freedom of democracy can makes us fall in the mistake of following the majority without analyzing the problem in itself.
The first thing to analyze when looking at the death penalty is the human being right to life. All people have the right to live and life is sacred. By this I mean that nobody has the right to take away the life of another person. You shall not kill, so says the Bible. On the other hand, many people are guided by the saying "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" and therefore they support capital punishment. However,......
