It all started with the right team and the right goal. During a time where Airlines were losing money and going bankrupt a small airlines rose and basically took over the market. The plan was to create a comfortable and cost efficient form of traveling which brought class and affordability back to the air. All of this is was made by the airline genius, David Neelman.

Neelman basically generated the concept of low fare air travel. He was the originator of the airline company's called Southwest and Easy Jet. Both airlines were the benchmarks of the new wave of air travel. Others like Delta and United were over pricing and not giving enough simple care to there customers. They looked past the little things which make there flyers happy. This is where Jet Blue created there competitive advantage. They started caring about the small details.
