Darwin's Theory Of Evolution
Charles Darwin first came up with the theory of natural selection. He took a lot of trips on land and sea, following his interests of nature and the change that happens. He looked at many different kinds of birds, insects and animals, he explained Natural Selection as sustaining of good variations and the rejecting of bad variations. Darwin explained that different alterations occurred in the same species, which helped them to adapt to their surroundings. Thus creating different species.
Darwin's theory of natural selection was based a couple different things. First, that organisms increase more rapidly than their food supply.. Due to limited resources, all life forms struggle to survive, but only the superior ones survive. Those individuals that possess some characteristic that is useful in adapting to the environment increase their chances of survival, and produce more offspring with the favorable characteristic and pass them to the next generations.
