I portrayed myself as an innocent child with no mistakes or kinks. I was able to keep the side of me every Bible thumper shunned and pointed out. I was told that I was mature for my age, responsible and dependable. I created the greatest con, it was flawless. Then the day came when I grew tired and let my parents in on my secret. Too embarrassed to admit their baby was an alcoholic and a pot head, they to began to play my game.
It took me two years to realize everything I was doing was to get back at my parents for getting a divorce, but I only hurt myself. After I realized my own mistake, I felt embarrassed. It was hard to believe that I put myself in danger to get revenge. After moving away I began to think of the lies people tell to portray an image of a perfect life. The lies began to pile up, they start telling lies to cover previous lies and somewhere down the line they lose track......
