Postmodernism
Postmodernism is in our every day lives and if we do not recognize it, then we are in more danger than we thought. Postmodernism is a way of philosophy, architecture, art, literature, and culture.
Postmodernism was based on many of the beliefs of Karl Marx. A believer in postmodernism, Jean Baudrillard, once said that postmodernism was a way to "bring Marx up to date". The religious belief of postmodernist is that they are atheist and believe that the idea of God is just too unbelievable. Postmodernism tried to be a big step from Marxism and to turn away from its violent ways, but instead they took most of marx's ideas. During the time of modernism Friedrich Nietzche stated that "God is dead; we have killed him." When Nietzsche said this he meant that the whole belief in God was dead which means that we as humans are the only higher source and our thoughts are the main source of power.
Unlike Christianity which has absolute truths, postmodernism has different, subjective truths.......
